Registration of Birth occurred even prior to enactment of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act 1969.

The true copy of the Birth Certificates have been issued for the period till to 1880 within 15 days on receipt of the application (subject to condition and availability of record)
The Birth Certificate will be issued in receipt of the application not only through computer center in all Local Bodies and also at 120 Common Service Centre in Union Territory of Puducherry.
Child Name could be incorporated in the Birth Certificate till 31.12.2014 from the birth occurred before 2000 as on time measure.
The name of the adopted parents could be incorporated by replaying the Biological Parents in the Birth Certificate based on the court order.
